National award “September 8”

The state award “September 8” recognizes sportsmen, coaches and sports workers for achievements in the field of sports.

Up to five awards can be given in one year, one of which is a lifetime achievement award for exceptional contribution to the development of sports, affirmation and promotion of the Republic of Macedonia internationally.

A lifetime achievement award for exceptional contribution to the development of sports, affirmation and promotion of the Republic of Macedonia internationally recognizes coaches (national team managers and coaches) and sports workers to promote the Republic of Macedonia in the world with high sports results in international sports which make an exceptional contribution to the development of sports in the Republic of Macedonia.

The initiative for awarding:

– “September 8” Award for lifetime achievement for exceptional contribution to the development of sports, affirmation and promotion of the Republic of Macedonia internationally, is submitted by the respective national sports federation, supported by at least ten national sports federations;

Individuals, sports clubs, national sports federations and other organizations in the field of sports can submit an initiative for the four awards “September 8” which recognizes coaches, sportsmen and sports workers for achievements in the field of sports.

The monetary amount of the national award “September 8” is ten (10) average monthly salaries in the Republic of Macedonia paid in the last three months of the current year.

The recipient of a lifetime achievement for exceptional contribution to the development of sports, affirmation and promotion of the Republic of Macedonia internationally is awarded a plaque, diploma and a sum of money.

The monetary amount of the “September 8″ award for lifetime achievement is a lifetime monthly payment of one average salary paid in the last three months of the current year”.

The submitters of the initiative for awarding the state award should explain the initiative in detail. The text should also contain: biographical data, address of residence, data on the achieved results in the area in which the achievement was attained and other documented data and arguments that are considered to contribute to the evaluation.

The submitter of the initiative must mention his full name and surname, designation, company, address and telephone number. The initiative (in completed form, including attachments) should be submitted in 20 copies.
