Youth Council at the Agency for Youth and Sports
In order to increase the involvement of young people in the creation of youth policies, as well as providing a more important institutional focus to young people, creating a command-decision-making and coordinating mechanism in the implementation of activities with the membership of youth organizations, organizations for youth and youth umbrella organizations, as well as representatives of state bodies, the Youth Council is established by decision of the director of the Agency for Youth and Sports (No. 12-890 / 1 from 01.04.2021).
Competencies of the Youth Council:
<ul>
<li>gives suggestions, proposes initiatives and opinions to the Director</li>
<li>monitors the situation regarding youth policies and social trends, as well as gives proposals for their improvement</li>
<li>proposes and plans measures to promote the position of young people</li>
<li>proposes and creates criteria for supporting youth organizations and youth organizations</li>
<li>prepares analyzes, reviews, information and other materials</li>
<li>reviews requests from youth organizations and youth organizations</li>
<li>acts according to the additional requirements and needs of the Director</li>
<li>The Youth Council, as an advisory body to the director, consists of 9 members, 6 from the ranks of youth organizations and youth organizations, as well as 3 from the ranks of civil servants.</li>
